All of my black and white images are shot with 35mm Tri-X film and digitally scanned. I learned to print in a traditional darkroom. Now I use Photoshop. None of my images are manipulated nor altered. What you see is exactly what I was shooting.  I am drawn to photographing at night, so the contrast between the lights and the darks and the details in the darks are crucial for the mood I want to capture. I primarily use the existing light and sometimes I use the night setting on my ContaxT3 that has a fixed 35mm lens. The images are then printed on an Epson 3800 printer. Ink stability rated at over 200 years.  I use the Epson luster archival paper that I love for the intense blacks it produces. For me the results are beautiful.
